Welcome to John Hine Pottery and the Crackle Pattern Pottery website. John Hine produces beautifully-observed animal studies in raku, the Japanese silver-grey crackle-glaze finish. Pieces in the collection are admired for both their elegance and their realistic energy-charged representation of members of the animal kingdom. No two pieces ever have the same crackle pattern so each one is unique.
